We are working to add 35-gallon, 65-gallon, and 95-gallon carts, along with dumpsters and commercial services. Prices will be updated shortly once we have the bins and dumpsters available.
After Mumford and B&C sold out, many local customers were left relying on nationwide haulers like Waste Management and Republic. HeartLand Sanitation is here to keep garbage hauling local and provide reliable service you can count on.

We need a response to that email if you're interested, so we can get bins out to you this month.

We are now preparing for January services. If you're interested in service beginning January 1st, please fill out our updated Google Form as soon as possible—even if you've already contacted us before. This helps us plan routes, service areas, cart inventory, commercial service, and future dumpster options.

Why we started HeartLand
HeartLand Sanitation is a new local company based in Annandale, Minnesota, started by Darby Johnson and Brayden Buschel. Brayden is the grandson of Ralph Helmbrecht, who ran R. Helmbrecht Sanitation in Annandale for more than 30 years. We are working to create a reliable local service for the people of Annandale and surrounding towns. We offer junk removal and are working to become weekly haulers.
Our launch plan
Why We're Starting With a Phased Launch
As we've spoken with residents throughout the area, we've found that many households recently renewed service agreements with Waste Management, West Central Sanitation, and other providers that run through the end of the year.
Because of that, Heartland Sanitation is launching in phases. Our initial routes will begin in November, allowing us to establish efficient service areas, deliver carts, and ensure dependable service from day one.
Our larger expansion is planned for January, when many customers will have the opportunity to evaluate their current service options and make a change if they choose.
In the meantime, we're continuing to accept interest forms, build routes, and plan for additional service areas, cart sizes, commercial accounts, and dumpster services.
If you're interested in becoming a customer, we encourage you to fill out our interest form today. The more customers we have in an area, the sooner we can expand service there.

Pickup schedule notice
November & December customers
If you signed up for November and December pickup, we've contacted you by email with the days we'll be picking up from you. Once you respond to that email, your pickup schedule will be set. Don't see it? Please check your spam or junk folder.
For our January expansion, pickup will run Monday through Thursday depending on your location. You'll be notified of your pickup day before service begins, and in advance if it ever changes.
